Malta bound ship accused for smuggling diesel

A Panama registered cargo vessel The levante had been arrested by libyan coast for smuggling the diesel from LIBYA to MALTA.

According to navy:
captain Ayyub umru kassim the ship was to carry 400tons of contraband diesel fuel abroad and was headding to valletta.
its crew of 7 Egyptians has beeing held in this smuggling and they had also even involved in earlier trips from libyan to malta and some report says that he is a passenger and rest were involved in smuggling. This statement had been given by the captain kassim and document proved that the ship is already involved in 4 trips of smuggling before.

RESULT SAYS:
    The ship had arrived the port of ZUARA on 2nd APRIL carrying 6 cargo containers and left 2 days later.The ship waas carrying no documentation about it.
This is the 2nd vessel arrested under a fortnight of smuggling fuel to malta.
At LIBYAN petrol station,the pump price of 400tons of diesel would be around LD60,000(
