Six missing as two BARGES collide in HONG KONG

                   The search continues in water of HONG KONG for 6 CREWMEN missing since the collision between two main land BARGES in thick fog near BEAUFORT island last night.

The two barges collide in the south of Bluff head near Beaufortat about 7:50 p.m on Thursday. one of the barge is carrying construction waste-sank instantly. Five of the 11 crew members were rescued,out of five, 2 of them were injured and 1 in serious condition.The other vessel was afloat after collision  and no one was hurt.

The search is being done for the missing crews. Due to thick fog the rescue operation by helicopter is not possible hence divers and rescue official had not found any one till now. 

The weather conditions were not extreme at the time of collision but visibility was extremely low because of high mist and fog.
